Homemade soft pretzel dough that is embellished with a bit of Parmesan and Italian Seasoning that then gets wrapped around a hot domestic dog and baked until it's golden brown – Then dunked in ketchup and or marinara sauce = it's quite mayhap the best flick night meal e'er invented and what's on the agenda this weekend considering I STILL haven't started stranger things! (side annotation, you can totally dunk yours in mustard if you desire also… I'1000 only a full ketchup fanatic and believe that almost things in life are improve when covered with a bootleg love apple-y goodness. Or could also become crazy and dip them in salsa. Just proverb.)

Ever since I fabricated those Italian Pretzel Knots, I've been hooked. I'm always dreaming upwards moments when I tin use the pretzel dough recipe and brand them into something fab – and pretzel dogs seemed similar an splendid idea. I likewise want pretzel burgers, and pretzel bites, and pretzel pizza. Just hey – gotta leave something for upcoming parties! Today is all about the Parmesan Pretzel Dogs!!

Parmesan Pretzel Dogs

  • 1 ane/2 cups warm 110 to 115 degrees F water
  • ane tablespoon sugar
  • two teaspoons kosher salt

  • Identify onto 2 sil-pat lined canvass pans.

  • Place the pretzeldogs into the boiling water, 1 by 1, for xxx seconds. Remove them from the water using a large flat spatula. Return to the one-half sheet pan, castor the top of each pretzel with the browbeaten egg yolk and water mixture and sprinkle with the pretzel table salt. Bake until dark gilded brownish in colour, approximately 12 to 14 minutes.

  • Transfer to a cooling rack for at least 5 minutes before serving
